Diagnostic English Test (DET)
For International Students Only
The DET is an English Language test administered by the Centre for English Language Communication (CELC). All international students from non-English- medium universities are required to take it.
How it Works
Results from the DET will determine whether students are required to take English language courses. Depending on their results, students will be placed in a particular ‘band’:
